The short version, before the documentation
Each project has one identity, its members and a canonical source repository on the control plane. A website's hosting is where SyncNow deploys, not the authority, and no workstation is the authority either.
Agents work through the SyncNow client's tools. Each operation carries a capability bound to one session and one project that expires within the hour. Hosting and database passwords stay in the server vault.
Reads never wait for another agent's lock. A write must say which version it is based on; if the file changed in the meantime, it is refused instead of overwriting someone else's work. There is no project-wide lock.
Decisions, discoveries, risks and failed approaches go into the project's memory on the server, and every agent that opens the project receives a brief of it.
The Windows client installs an update only if its manifest is signed by SyncNow's release identity and the file matches the signed size and SHA-256. Otherwise nothing is installed.
