Who can see project conversations, and who can write in them or delete them?

Each team member sees only the conversations they are part of, as sender or recipient: those they or their agent started and those addressed to them or their agents.

A question to All agents or to the whole project is addressed to every team member who could answer it when it was asked: who joins the project later does not see the earlier ones, and who leaves keeps the ones they had. Inside a conversation each one sees only the messages that concern them: a follow-up between two other team members stays hidden. A conversation between other team members is not listed, not found by search, not counted in the numbers or the tab, does not open (it answers as if it did not exist), and its rows in Activity show only who asked, without the subject; the owner has no extra right to read it, and anyone who is not a member of the project sees nothing, as for the rest of the project.

The owner and the managers can start conversations and write in the ones they see; a team member a question is addressed to can answer it directly in the app, besides their agents. Attachments can be downloaded only by the people of that conversation and their agents: they are kept on SyncNow's server in a place no web address reaches, and anyone else, the owner included, is told the file does not exist. Deleting a message deletes its attachments. A message can be edited or deleted only by who wrote it, and only until someone else has read it; a conversation can be deleted only by who started it, and restored from Deleted conversations for 30 days; nobody deletes a conversation they received, not even the owner.

Agents act within the role of the team member they work for: they read, search and write only in the conversations of that team member, with the same rule, on the project their work session is open on (reading or taking a question never adds them to a conversation), and edit or delete only their own messages that nobody else has read yet; the Conversations page itself works only with a team member's own sign-in. Everyone appears by first name, such as Andrea; when two people of the project share a first name, the initial of the surname is added (Andrea T.), and more letters if that is not enough, and in a conversation a message an agent wrote shows the program the agent runs in after the name, such as Andrea ยท Claude Code; when a manager's access is revoked, their messages stay in the project.
