What is SyncNow?

Getting Started

SyncNow is a Windows app that watches your web projects and coordinates safe AI help, without ever touching your files.

It does two jobs for you. First, it acts as a passive activity registry: for each project you add, it watches the remote server read-only and records every change - create, modify, delete, rename, move, copy, restore - on one shared timeline. It keeps a snapshot and a journal in a hidden .sync folder. It is not a file-sync tool and never copies, moves or overwrites your files.

Second, it gives an AI assistant like Claude Code a safe way to work on a project. The assistant never sees your real password and always works through SyncNow's local proxy, while the cloud does the real action and logs it.

In short, you get a clear history of what happened and peace of mind that nothing changes your live site behind your back.
