Agents such as Claude Code work on the site through SyncNow's tools instead of holding the FTP password, and every change they make goes through the same checks and is recorded in the project's Activity.
Without it, an agent with FTP access can overwrite a file someone else just changed, forget what was decided in an earlier session and leave no trace of what it touched. With SyncNow a write based on an outdated copy of a file is refused with STALE_CONTEXT, earlier versions of overwritten files are usually kept so a change can be undone, and each work session appears in the project's Activity as one entry that says what was done and how many files it changed. When an agent opens the project it also receives the project's Planning and Rules, if they have been written, so it knows where the project is going and what it must always follow.
Several team members and agents can work on the same site at the same time: there is no lock on the whole project, and each write is checked against the current version of the file it touches. To get started, see How do I install the SyncNow app on Windows?.
