While a project is open in front of you, new and changed plans, rules and Activity entries appear by themselves within about three seconds, without clicking anything, and so do the grey numbers of unread updates next to the tabs, the Overview and the number next to the project's name in Projects. Only what changed is read again, and what you are doing stays as it is: where you have scrolled to, the item open in the panel on the right, the search you typed, the filters and the row you selected with the keyboard. While the window to edit a plan or a rule is open nothing changes under it; the page catches up when you close it.
SyncNow asks the server what changed with one small request: every 2.5 seconds while SyncNow is the window you are using, every 6 seconds after two minutes without touching the mouse or the keyboard, every 15 seconds after fifteen minutes, every 20 seconds while another window is in front, and never while SyncNow is minimized or no project is open. When the connection or the server fails it waits longer each time, up to a minute, and it never sends a second request while one is still waiting for its answer.
To copy the whole content of a plan, a rule or an Activity entry, as in Claude Code or ChatGPT, point at its row and click the small copy icon, or use the copy icon at the top of the panel on the right; the tooltip says Copy and then Copied, except on an Activity row, which shows no tooltip: there the icon turns into a green tick once the entry is copied. The text is plain text with Markdown headings: the title, its details, every section in full (an Activity entry also has who did it and when, the summary, decisions, open items, next action and the list of files), with code kept as it was written; the line under the title of a plan or a rule starts with its six-character code. Copy rules, on the bar at the top of the Rules page, copies all the rules of both tabs, Staging and Production, at once. To copy only a code, click it: see What is the six-character code on a plan, a rule, a question or an Activity entry?. The text in the panels can also be selected with the mouse and copied with Ctrl+C or with Copy in the right-click menu; Ctrl+A selects all of it, and Ctrl+C on a row that has the keyboard focus copies the whole item. See What do I see when I open an event in Activity?.
