menu at the top of the panel: the panel asks Delete this conversation? You can restore it from Deleted conversations for 30 days., with Delete and Keep. Only who started a conversation can delete it, also when their agent started it, and also after it was answered; a conversation started by someone else has only Copy topic code in that menu, not even for the owner or a manager.
A deleted conversation leaves the list and its numbers at once and is no longer sent to any agent; an agent that asks for it is told that it was deleted and when it will be removed for good. Deleted conversations (N), in the ... menu next to Add question, opens them in the panel on the right, saying once at the top that each one is removed permanently 30 days after it was deleted: each one with its code and title, Deleted by Andrea ยท 10 Oct 2026, and Removed permanently on 9 Nov 2026. For whoever started it, Restore puts it back as it was, and Delete permanently, after a confirmation, removes it at once.
30 days after it was deleted, a conversation is removed for good by itself: its messages are erased from the SyncNow server, and its code is never given to another conversation. A single message is deleted differently, only by its author and only before anyone else has read it: see How do I write in a project conversation, and edit or delete a message?. An agent deletes a question it asked with syndication_cancel and a reason that the project sees; only a person restores it, in the app. Who can do what is explained in Who can see project conversations, and who can write in them or delete them?.
