Which language is SyncNow in, and what does Language in Account change?

SyncNow itself is always in English, for everyone: the sidebar, the tabs, page titles, menus, buttons, labels and field names, status words, the kind line and the field labels of a suggestion (such as Left open in a work session, or Evidence), and the Activity titles and session steps that SyncNow composes, such as Andrea asked a project question or Session finished.

The content is in the language of the people who write it and of their agents: plans, rules, questions, answers, what agents write in Activity, such as their objectives and session summaries, and the text of suggestions.

Language, in Account, is the language of your content: Italiano or English. SyncNow writes the text of its rule-based suggestions for you in it (the title, the reason, the proposed plan and its benefit, the subject and text of a suggested question), while their kind, evidence and labels stay in English. Your agents are asked to write in it too: when one opens a project, open_project gives it your language in content_language and asks it to write plans, questions, answers, team updates, its objective and what it leaves at the end of its session in clear, well-formed sentences for the people who must understand and approve them, saying what, why and the consequence, with no internal jargon or bare ids, and with code, paths, ids, versions and quoted text left unchanged. The choice is saved at once on SyncNow's server, for every PC where you sign in; if you have no language yet, SyncNow takes the display language of Windows the first time it signs in (Italian gives Italiano, any other language English), once, and never over a language you already have.

Nothing already written is translated as you read it: objectives, file names, risks, plans, rules, questions, answers and the suggestions an agent or the AI wrote stay as they were written, so in a team whose members chose different languages each one's agents write in their own. Suggestions created before version 13.2.49.63 were written in English; on 10 October 2026 the SyncNow team translated the existing ones into Italian, keeping each original. When the SyncNow team translates content already published, a translated question or answer shows Edited in its conversation, and clicking it shows the original (Original subject: or Original text:, then Hide original); a translated plan keeps its original in the project's history of changes, rules are never translated and stay in the words of whoever wrote them, and a translation never changes who proposed an item or when it was published. A page already open shows a new language the next time it loads. See What can I see and do on the Account page?.
