What can the SyncNow server see of my project?

What it needs to do the work.

Agents' file reads and writes, database queries and hosting operations run on the SyncNow server, so file contents and query results pass through it, and it keeps the project's knowledge: Planning, Rules, Journal, memory, team updates, the questions and answers of Conversations, and Activity. It also keeps earlier versions of files that agents overwrite, except files that look like configuration, for which it records only the change and its hashes.

It holds your hosting and database passwords encrypted in its vault and uses them to run operations; it gives them to no agent. SyncNow does not receive your agent's conversation: it receives what the agent sends through SyncNow's tools, such as file operations, its objective, its team updates, its questions and answers in Conversations and its closing note.

Text saved to the project's knowledge passes through secret redaction first, and the AI check of plans and rules sends OpenAI only redacted text. Diagnostic logs are stored with pseudonyms in place of project, site, path, machine and user names, and fields carrying file contents, prompts, project memory or secrets are dropped.
