Add a project?

Getting Started

Open SyncNow, choose New project, enter your server details, test the connection and save - SyncNow then starts watching it automatically.

What you will enter

  1. A name for the project.
  2. The protocol (FTP or SFTP), host and port.
  3. Your username and password, which are stored encrypted on your PC.
  4. The remote root folder, which becomes the area SyncNow watches.

SyncNow runs a connection test before saving, so you know straight away that the details work. Once saved, the project shows up as a card and the first observation begins.

The root you pick is a firm perimeter: SyncNow only ever looks inside it and never crosses it. If your site lives in a subfolder, point the root there so your timeline stays focused on the files that matter to you. Remember, SyncNow only watches - it never copies, moves or overwrites anything.
