What's agent_bridge.json?

AI Assistants and the FTP Proxy

agent_bridge.json is a small descriptor file SyncNow writes so a connected AI assistant knows how to reach the local proxy for your project.

You will find it inside the hidden .syncnow folder. It holds the details the assistant needs to talk to the bridge on 127.0.0.1 - mainly the current port and a session token. Both of these rotate, so an old value stops working once a session ends or the bridge restarts.

What you need to do

Usually nothing. SyncNow creates and updates this file automatically when an assistant connects. You do not edit it by hand, and it does not contain your real FTP password - that stays in the cloud vault. The .syncnow folder is protected, so assistants are not allowed to tamper with it. If an assistant cannot connect, it is fine to check that the file exists and looks current.
