What can it access?

SyncNow reaches into your project's FTP root to watch it, and deliberately stops there.

What it can see

• The file listing inside your project's FTP root: names, sizes and timestamps it uses to detect changes.
• Enough to take a snapshot and keep its journal under the hidden .sync folder.
• The activity timeline: who did what, and when, across the PCs sharing the project.

What it will not touch

• Anything outside the FTP root; parent folders and other sites are off the map.
• Your files themselves: observation is read-only and changes nothing on its own.
• An assistant working through SyncNow is blocked from reading secrets, credentials or the vault, and from manipulating the .sync and .syncnow control folders.

The honest caveat: these assistant safeguards are bridge-enforced. SyncNow coordinates and audits the operations that flow through it and can detect and ban bypass attempts. It does not claim those limits are unbreakable at the operating-system level; that is a future capability.
