How to end?

Work Sessions and Grants

A session ends when the assistant sends END and leaves a short changelog of what it did. You do not have to do this yourself.

END is the clean, accountable way to hand the project back. It closes the turn, releases the lock so the project returns to Free, and records a clear note on the shared activity timeline for the next person or assistant.

What the changelog covers

  • Files touched - what was created, modified, renamed, moved or deleted.
  • Risks - anything fragile, unfinished, or worth a second look.
  • Fixes - what was repaired or improved, and why.

If a session never ends

Sessions also expire on their own if they go quiet, and you can always revoke one. But systematically never ending is treated as a grave violation: it can get an assistant banned from the project and flagged for human review. Ending cleanly keeps trust intact.
