Do not worry: a failed update will not break SyncNow. If one cannot complete, your previous working version keeps running.
Updates are built to fail safely. If a download is interrupted or its SHA-256 checksum does not match, SyncNow rejects the file and stays on your current build, with nothing half-applied. If an update is applied but does not behave, SyncNow can roll back to the prior version, and an anti-loop safeguard stops it from getting stuck retrying the same bad update.
What to try
- Check your internet connection, then restart SyncNow so it can check again at launch.
- Confirm the app can reach
www.syncnow.it(a firewall or security tool may block it from replacing its own file). - Leave it running for a while; it retries on its own at the next check.
If updates keep failing, grab the update logs and contact support so we can take a look. Because every download is verified and reversible, a failed update never leaves you on a broken build.
