If SyncNow hits repeated failures in a short window, it does not keep retrying blindly. Instead it drops into a cautious, read-only state. It keeps watching your project, but it holds back any risky action while the trouble lasts.
Once conditions look clean again over a few steady cycles, SyncNow recovers on its own and returns to normal observation. You do not have to restart anything by hand.
You might notice safe mode if the cloud is unreachable or after a string of errors. It is a feature, not a fault: SyncNow is choosing to wait safely rather than risk acting on a bad picture of your project. If it lingers, check the logs and your connection.
