A Grant is the temporary work pass SyncNow gives an AI assistant so it can act on one of your projects safely, without ever seeing your real FTP password.
Think of it as a backstage pass rather than a set of keys. The assistant does not get your credentials; it gets permission to work for a while through SyncNow's local proxy, while SyncNow's cloud executor performs the real FTP actions and logs them.
What it means for you
A Grant follows a simple turn: START -> work -> END. The assistant works freely during the turn and finishes by leaving a changelog of what it touched. You stay in control because only one Grant is active per project at a time, structural safety guards block unsafe moves, and you can revoke the pass at any moment.
It is not a list of micro-permissions. SyncNow does not approve each file or rename; it manages the flow and blocks genuinely risky actions.
