Open SyncNow and sign in with your account email and password - this connects the desktop app to your account in the cloud.
That cloud side matters to you. It is where your real FTP credentials are kept in a secure vault and never leave, and it is what keeps a shared activity timeline consistent across several PCs and collaborators.
Why you need an account
- To coordinate the same project across several computers on one timeline.
- To invite collaborators to a project, each with a role.
- So the cloud vault and executor can act for you without ever exposing real credentials.
On your own PC, any stored FTP passwords are encrypted with Windows DPAPI and tied to your Windows user. Keeping your account itself secure is worth the same care you would give any cloud login.
Once you are signed in, add a project and let SyncNow run its first observation. If signing in gives you trouble, see the login help in Troubleshooting.
