Updates arrive over-the-air straight from www.syncnow.it. SyncNow checks for a newer version when it starts, and again from time to time while it runs. When one is found, it downloads in the background, verifies it, and applies it. There is no installer to hunt down and no manual steps for you.
What you can expect
- A quiet check at launch and at regular intervals.
- A background download that does not interrupt your work.
- An SHA-256 check on every download before anything is applied.
- A clean swap to the new version, with the ability to roll back if needed.
Most updates are optional and simply keep you current. Now and then one is mandatory (a force update), usually a fix everyone needs. Just leave SyncNow running and you will stay up to date.
