No. While SyncNow's cloud is unreachable, an assistant cannot write changes. Edits are blocked until the connection is back.
Why writes pause
Every change an assistant makes goes through SyncNow's cloud executor, which performs the real FTP action and logs it. If the cloud cannot be reached, there is no safe, recorded way to carry out a write, so the guard holds writes back rather than letting them slip through unchecked.
This protects your activity timeline. It keeps every change tracked and prevents an assistant from making edits that nobody can see, verify or undo.
When the cloud comes back, normal work resumes. If you keep seeing blocked writes, treat it as a connectivity problem to look into rather than a fault with the assistant. Your project simply waits in a safe state until the proper, logged path is available again.
