No. An assistant can only touch files inside your project's root folder. Any attempt to read or write outside it is blocked.
What this protects
When you add a project, the FTP root you set becomes a fixed perimeter. SyncNow treats it as the edge of the world for that project: everything an assistant does has to stay inside it. A path that points above the root, or off to another site on the same server, is refused before any change happens.
This keeps work neatly contained. An assistant fixing one site cannot wander into another folder, an unrelated project, or system files higher up the tree, even by mistake.
If an assistant tries to step outside the root, the operation does not run and the slip is recorded. A serious or repeated attempt counts as a grave act, which gets the assistant banned from the project and flagged for human review. You keep one clear boundary you can trust.
