No. An AI assistant never sees your real FTP password. Your credentials stay in SyncNow's cloud vault and are never sent to the assistant.
When an assistant works on your project, it talks only to SyncNow's local proxy on 127.0.0.1, using a one-time password that is good for that session and that local connection alone. It is not your FTP password and it cannot be used to log in to your host.
The real FTP login happens in the cloud: SyncNow's executor reads the vaulted credentials and performs the action, then logs it on the timeline.
An extra layer
On your own PC, any stored passwords are encrypted with Windows DPAPI. SyncNow also blocks assistants from reading secrets, credentials, or the vault, and detects and bans anyone who tries to bypass the proxy to reach your host directly.
