How often it checks?

SyncNow checks each project on a regular cycle that you choose - from frequent automatic checks to fully manual.

Setting the rhythm

Every project has an observation interval, set in seconds with a friendly frequency label. Make it shorter and SyncNow notices changes sooner; make it longer to go easy on the server. Set it to manual and SyncNow only checks when you ask it to.

What happens on each check

1. SyncNow lists the project on the FTP server, read-only.
2. It compares the result against its manifest to detect drift.
3. Any change is written to your activity timeline.

Good to know

• Changes are spotted on the next check, so a longer interval means a longer wait before something appears.
• SyncNow needs to be running to observe - a closed app means no checks.
• A sensible interval also keeps you comfortably within your host's connection limits.
