An assistant is banned from a project when it commits a grave act, not a minor slip.
A ban skips the warning ladder entirely. It is reserved for serious breaches of the protocol, and it also flags the project for human review so a person can check what happened.
What counts as grave
- Trying to bypass the proxy or use FTP directly.
- Reading secrets, credentials or the vault.
- Writing outside the project root.
- Tampering with the
.syncfolder. - A mass delete with no checkpoint.
- Never ending a session.
When banned, the assistant is blocked from acting on that project through SyncNow until a human reviews and clears it. This is the top of the discipline ladder, above a warning and a revoked session. Because these are deliberate violations and not ordinary work, an honest assistant never triggers a ban.
