Can't sign in?

Troubleshooting

If you cannot sign in, start with the basics: the right email and password, a working internet connection, and the latest version of SyncNow.

Work through these

  1. Re-enter your email and password carefully. Watch for Caps Lock, stray spaces, and wrong capitalization, and confirm you are using the account you created.
  2. Confirm this PC is online. Sign-in talks to the cloud at www.syncnow.it, so a blocked connection looks like a login failure.
  3. Check that a firewall, VPN or proxy is not intercepting outbound HTTPS.
  4. Make sure SyncNow is up to date. It updates itself, so a restart can pick up a fix.

Account vs FTP passwords

Keep two things separate. Your SyncNow account login is what signs you in here. Your FTP password for a website is stored per project, encrypted on your PC and vaulted in the cloud. A wrong FTP password never blocks your account login; it only affects observing that one site.

If the credentials are definitely right and the cloud is reachable, capture the diagnostics logs and the exact error wording before contacting support.
